Not every candle fits every lamp. The maximum candle height and usable diameter matter more than you might think.
What to look for:

Max candle height: For example, “fits jar candles up to 7 inch tall.” If your favorite brand uses taller jars, this is critical.

Base opening & arm clearance: Make sure the lamp can accommodate the width of your jars without hitting the arm or shade.

Adjustable height: A height‑adjustable lamp head lets you bring the bulb closer for faster melting or raise it for larger candles.
